In the game of Football there are stats kept titled “yards after the catch” and “yards after contact” or YAC for short. Though not an official stat these serve a very real purpose in demonstrating the effectiveness of a player. It is what occurs after the initial and expected action takes place (the pass and catch, the hand off and run) that often times determines the winner of a game.
